From digipak: "Each July, the Friends For Life Bike Rally inspires hundreds of cyclists to take to the road in order to raise money for people living with HIV and AIDS. The event is the primary fundraiser for the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation, the largest direct support service agency of its kind in Canada. During six incredible days, the participants ride their bikes over 600 kilometres, from downtown Toronto to distant Montreal. They are supported on the journey by a dedicated volunteer crew consisting of medical professionals, food staff, roadies and route support. Together, they spread awareness of the struggles faced by those living with HIV and AIDS as they pedal across the province. The road to Montreal is cattered with moments of sorrow, laughter and inspiration. Some participants ride to deal with loss, others ride for a challenge -- but all of them eventually discover that the journey is personal as well as physical. A Reason To Ride is a powerful story of what individuals can achieve when they come together for one cause." Directed by Lucinda Wallace Produced by Nico Stagias, Phil Strong, and Lucinda Wallace Videography by Jason Charters and Dustin Rabin Edited by Nico Stagias and Lucinda Wallace Narrated by Laurel MacDonald
